Despite setbacks, security, and hours spent at airports on layovers, flying is the faster option. So, if you are going on a holiday and going to travel through Airline, you need to keep few things in mind to make the journey hassle-free. Take a look at the points given below;
Before you board the plane:
* The first and very important, allow yourself a plenty of time at the airport for check-in and get to your gate.
* If you are uncomfortable with something you have caught up recently, make sure to have yourself immunized for it.
* If you are not feeling well, call your airline attendants and check whether you can change your flight. But you will probably need a doctor’s note, and have to go through a paperwork.
* Dress up yourself in lose fitting, comfortable clothing, and wear comfortable/easy to remove shoes.
* Delays are becoming more and more common these days so carry something with you in your hand bag that can keep you occupied like crossword puzzles, a cell phone, a book, hand held games, MP3player or iPod, etc.
* Be sure to have a small pack of snacks with you. This is useful if your flight is delayed or if it takes a while for the airline attendants to serve the snack.
* Try to get on the plane first and off the plane last to get better assistance from the cabin crew. In Flight:
* Make sure to eat light when you board the flight.
* Staying well hydrated while on the flight will keep you fit. Try having fruit juices or plain water and avoid intake of alcoholic beverages. This is required because the environment inside the cabin is dry which may lead to dehydration.
* Do not put your baggages under the seat in front of you. Instead place them in overhead bins. Make sure you have plenty of room in front of your seat so that you can stretch your legs and be comfortable.
* Keep walking around the cabin of the plane at a regular interval of time, even if it is for no reason. It is important for your body parts to stretch over a period of time to avoid fatigue.
* Put on a jacket if the temperature is cold inside, wear earplugs, in case it is loud, and bring a snack of your own in case you do not like what is provided.
If you face any kind of problem, report it to the flight attendants and get over with it immediately. Reach airport much before the scheduled time, considering factors like traffic or anything alike. Do your best not to miss your flight, check the time and re-check it, do not chat for longer period of time. Carry at least one change of clothing, and personal items in your hand bag because sometimes your luggage may be delayed, or in the worst scenario, may lost.
